I'm sitting here uploading 3 1/2inch floppies to my computer. We're trying to declutterize (as always) and this is part of the junk reduction plan.

Here are a few samples.

Hannah is all set to join the circus here....

My four brothers....Vincent missed out! : (

Hannah again, much younger....

After Matthew lost his first tooth. :)

So precious!

And, finally, setting our eyes on the bus (some for the first time) as it was towed in 2003 to Orange.

Here is "You May Have The Joy-Bells" :)

This is after about an hour...we're better now. Looking forward to working on some Christmas music with these as well!

The suspense is hopefully not killing anyone. : )

We're rejoicing over a donation made by Nancy L. from Wyoming.
It's a set of 32 musical cow bells!

This is an answer to our prayer and desire to use these unique instruments in concerts! Years ago we pursued purchasing a set after seeing them played. Dead end! The Lord knows what we need when. : ) We have a video clip of part of our first hour of practice, which I hope to have up soon. They are extraordinarily LOUD, so we're taking steps to keep our ears covered. :)

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

Hi all! I realize I really do need to blog a few more of the trip before we get on to the exciting news of the 32 new music makers sitting in the living room.

Oh a reminder to check out the facebook album with 8 pages of photos. You do not need to be a member to view them. :)

Nathan, in Colorado, trying to .... set the neighborhood on fire? : P

Vincent picking and almost grinning. :)

Vincent's new bunk.

Not really. We brought a generator cage home on this.

Visiting family....

Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God, you who have done great things. Who, O God, is like you? Psalm 71:19 NIV

God bless you all!

We are home safe and sound! Well, not to our heavenly home, but our temporary place of residence in the beautiful northeast! Thank you all who prayed for us. We arrived home mid morning on the 1st. Our warrior driver, Vincent, pulled an all nighter and drove straight straight home from VA. I think the 5 cans of Pepsi boosted his energy levels a little. ; )

We're starting right in on house declutterazation. (My very own word!) It's really easy to come home from a trip and realize if you lived without it for a month you probably won't miss it.

I never got all our photos up here (or facebook) (Also, new album here.) so here are a few more photos and captions from Fall 2009 Tour!

Dad, Papa, and Mom at Mt. Rushmore.

Hannah our valiant Wall Drug Indian chief. ; )

Wyoming was next and it was beautiful.

In CO visiting the cousins!

Doing a set with casual clothes. Unheard of! :D

Papa relaxing....

More fun with the cousins!

At this point my internet is being clogged up and photos aren't loading...sooooooo....we'll have to wait on more for now. :)

Blessings!

Hi all!

Here are a few shots of us at Mt. Rushmore and the Badlands. We're in CO now visiting relatives. The sunset was amazing last night. AH! This could very easily be photographer heaven. :)

Daniel's Mt. Rushmore pose. :)

The museum made it a lot more interesting....with lot of behind the scene facts!

Hallelujah! Praise God for the good things He has done!

It’s hard to believe how quickly time has flown. This trip has been a whirlwind of visiting, concerts, and driving. We covered 5 states in a long day of driving on Thursday of last week. Vincent gave dad a break for a few hours. Whew. Feels like we hardly stop and we’re on the move again. :)

A few snapshots from the road…

Our faithful and wonderful main driver, dad.

(Speaking of drivers - as we started west in Minnesota Nathan was introduced as a new driver. The word on the bus was “do not fear death” as he took the wheel. : D We all lived. )

I’ve an album on face book with several more photos. Click here to see those. You don’t have to be a member or sign in to view.

Thank you all for the prayers for our journey! The Lord is answering them! We avoided a couch in the road in NY and helped them move it to safety. We have seen many deer along the way but are thankful most of them have stayed off the road. :) We visited the Badlands and Mt. Rushmore today but I have no pics on this computer yet. Hopefully by this weekend I'll have something up! It was gorgeous.

Dad has been able to sleep. This is a wonderful blessing. We have caught colds which may prove to be a pain for singing tomorrow night and the next....bring on the vitamin C!

Signing off for the crew,
Carol
