Fall Tour 2009 is quickly upon us! We'll be making updates available here periodically through the 4 1/2 weeks. Let us know you're watching for the updates by leaving a comment. :)

Thank you all of you who have prayed for dad. He's feeling fair today with a rough morning.

A quick prayer request list

1) Dad's ability to rest and get comfortable in the bus
2) Safety on the roads
3) Divine appointments
4) Heart that are prepared, both of the listener and the musicians

Blessing on you all and may you ever been drawn closer to the Lord Jesus Christ!

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 NIV

Thank you all for your prayers! Dad was able to walk down the stairs and sit down without the screaming pain. Praise the Lord! He's been trying some exercises and those seem to be helping. Thanks again and praise God!

Hi folks! We have a special prayer request for Dad's back today. He's back to the pain level in November. Some of you may recall this as I believe we asked for prayer then as well - the spasms which confined him to bed were excruciating. Something akin to being bitten in half. He's back to that level of pain and didn't sleep until 6am this morning. Thank you all for your prayers! God is able to do it!

Hello readers and friends! I'm sorry for dreadful pauses between posts!

The summer started out very rainy. The rain finally stopped coming (though it is cloudy and drizzly this afternoon) and we've been enjoying some nice sunshine. Backing up a little though....

Hannah girl turned 10 in July!

In sad news, Allison (aka, Alice, Chickie, Henny) left us. We found a pile of feathers. : (

We miss having her follow us around in the garden and generally want to be involved with whatever we had going on.

Speaking of the garden, this is the garden/empty lot from the air.... :)

The boys and the gals headed out yesterday (except Vincent who had the flu) to take down and chop up 2 (3?) trees.

Nathan scaled the treet....be careful! Peter's got a chain saw!

It was a very exhausting day for most of us. Glad that project is crossed off the list!

Blueberries have been in season...and with all the rain we had we had a bumper crop!

I think so far we've picked near 18 gallons. Those pictured above are from wild bushes but we have been working a cultivated spot which yields 'beefsteak' berries. We've got a few jars all jammed up with jam. It's delicious. :)

I (Carol) have been working on the new family website which I'm really excited about. Basically, we're only semi-finished with the first page....either way we hope to have the rest finished before we leave, but I'm not holding my breath. :)

Hope you all have a good week!
