As we close this decade out I look over a sea of changes, crushing disappointments, years of singing/traveling, and blessings too numerous to list. What will the Lord bring in 2010? Time will tell...

Happy New Year!

According to my blogger account it has been exactly one month since I posted.

Well, to catch you all up, we've been pretty busy and kinda not so busy. :) We had a fairly slow concert season this December.

Thanksgiving found us joining together with our dear friends, who have helped us in recording our albums. We're ready to record a new family album. Please, keep us in prayer in that department if you feel so led!

Right after Thanksgiving my parents celebrated their 27th Anniversary.

Thank you Lord for their faithfulness to each other and to you!

Another thing to be thankful for are the cords and cords of wood we have stacked up. We've been blessed with lots of wood this year...

....so the boys have been splitting and stacking. Praise God whom all blessings flow! I think we have enough wood for several years and then some. : ) The living room is toasty warm these days...

We had a lovely visit from the Morrell family early in December.

Jesse is a street preacher who travels with his family all over the country. It was a neat time of fellowship with them and we enjoyed hearing Jesse share his testimony Sunday. He shared again on Sunday afternoon which was also a blessing. The little baby was quite the attraction....

She was rarely lacking for admirers and willing arms to rest (or squirm!) in. :D

Carol (that's me) was so so SO excited to be a part of a production of Handel's Messiah this year. :D I think everyone in the house learned my parts. :) I feel even if only mom decided to come to the concert it was a success because I hear people humming the delightful melodies around the house.... :)

In the family music department we're working on several new arrangements. Musically speaking I'm really excited about this next tour. : ) We're bringing the brass back .....with a new instrument in tow and a personnel addition!

Christmas as always is a pretty laid back deal around here and we visited the nursing home the morning of the 25th with a musical program which was well received.

Looking forward to seeing some of your this year on the road. Our schedule is filling up but we still have a few dates open. Feel free to contact us with requests. (Make sure you scroll DOWN to 2010, we still seem to have 09 on the top of the page. :))

Here I shall close.

Praising and trusting in HIM,

Carol
