Greetings from cool North Carolina! The wifi on my laptop has broken which is why we've had this silence between post. Sorry about that! Hopefully I'll be able to borrow one and get some photos up from our time in Texas and Alabama.

The reason I'm borrowing Matthew's laptop this morning is to tell you all we visited Joy FM this morning! Our interview with Daniel, Melody, Candi, on Morning JoyRide, will start to air tomorrow morning around 7:00am through 8:30am. We did two live songs for them which will also be aired. Check out their website and listen to the live stream or tune, in if you live in the central eastern United States, which would include, Virgina, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Ohio and Kentucky.

Greetings from the weary travelers from the trail! : ) We’ve had a very full last few weeks, including, late nights, changing time zones, volleyball, visiting friends, and making new friends and lots of singing! We’re currently staying at the Jan Kay Ranch near Paris, Texas….but looking back on the other parts of our trip….

Our visit to Kentucky was a short, but sweet!

It was so nice to get together with folks we hadn’t seen in a while….

We have so few pictures of concerts in progress so here’s one Mrs. Overholt took for us…

Bonnie celebrated her 21st b-day with her friends and family. We played a lot of volleyball.

Photobucket

Lots of nice memories there. :)

We had to say goodbye and head over to Joplin, Missouri and on the way we saw the Gateway to the west in person, some of us for the first time!

Photobucket

Traveling across the state to Joplin we met the Covington family in person for the first time. We enjoyed staying in front of their pink house for a few days. What fun!!

Photobucket

And this is just two families? : D

We took a trip to the falls and the cliffs….

We have missed the peak of the New England color but we have been seeing some fall foliage.

Photobucket

Anyone reading from home feel free to enjoy some brilliant leaves for us. :)

Monday morning we had a surprise unscheduled concert for a Christian school! Afterward we quickly packed up and traveled to Springfield, MO. We had a great concert at a retirement community/nursing home and then it was a quick trip around the corner to see dad’s old house and school.

The next day we traveled over to Tulsa…and after Tulsa we arrived in Guthrie, OK, the home city of the Naylor family. It was great to renew our friendship with them after not seeing them for 3 years. : )

…Jamming…

Thank you all for your short notice hospitality. ; D

And, we’re off to Paris!
New post coming soon!! Sorry for the long delay...

Check out this post here to see what we were up to in MO. : )

We haven’t been doing many birthday posts this year, but we’re doing one for Bonnie, our very own on-the-road birthday girl. Happy Birthday, Bonnie! You’re a blessing to us and the ministry. May God continue to bless you as you use your talents for Him and give you direction for the future!

Photobucket

Age: 21
Birthday cake: Chocolate Tort
Pastimes: Conjugating verbs, composing, reading, inciting meaningful discussions and too many more to list.
Random fact: Bonnie hasn’t been home for her birthday in 4 years.
Hidden talent: She can tie cherry stems in knots with her tongue. :D
As mentioned, we have pictures of the baptism.

Hey to all our faithful and unfaithful readers. : )

The first 5 days of our trip have been busy and interesting. We’ve only sung twice but we’ve been hanging out at Grammie and Granddad’s house completing projects for them. Praise the Lord for strong bodies to work during the day and nights to rest in!

One of the spiritual highlights Sunday was the baptism of the 5 MacDonald brothers. Granddad, who turns 75 this month, officiated. It was a very special time with all of the living grand parents attending.

Pictures coming.

Bonnie found this cute stick bug outside.

What is a visit to G&G’s without music?

Photobucket

Family picture time!

Photobucket

We have visited Cabela’s twice in 5 days time! Once in Connecticut (where we rode the escalator) and in West Virginia.

The “Redwoods” of Cabela’s. : P

Grrrr. Aren’t you glad he’s stuffed? ; )

We got to visit with Dan Corner from evengelicaloutreach.com, in Washington, PA. He was encouraging, bold and we were blessed to meet him in person.

We also got to meet the Raub family in a parking lot in WV by divine appointment. They have a bus the same brand as ours so dad and Mr. Kevin had a good time talking. : ) Check their page out here.
