The MacDonald family is almost ready to leave for Florida! We've got a few relatives down there, including Victor's sister, Valerie, who will be leaving in the summer for China. She and her family will be teaching english at a university there. It will be nice to be able to see them one last time, as they plan to stay in China for several years.

The bus has come a long way since the last time I blogged here, we've now got 9 bunks built, a washer, dryer, stove, 12,500 watt generator, and a bathroom, including a full size shower! None of the plumbing is hooked up yet, but in the future we'll have the shower, washer, plus two sinks (kitchen and bathroom). It's all very exciting, although sometimes it seems to come slowly. We are blessed with neighbors who don't mind coming over to help us lift the 100+ lb appliances through the window, which is the only way most of them fit it.

We don't have any tours set up yet, as we haven't completed all the work on the bus necessary for long term travelling. As soon as it's done, Lord Willing, we'll be setting up more tours. We do have one location in mind, The Grand Canyon, as Jim (Laurie's father) wants to visit. However, if you would like us to come to your area, please contact us!

I am terribly sorry for not keeping this updated, in October-December we were very busy with singing, and I wasn't able to blog much, then after December most of our singing engagements were over, and I didn't have anything to blog about! I just noticed our friend Izzy Lyman ( www.icky.blogspot.com ) blogged about our blog, and figured I'd better blog. (how many times is 'blog' allowed to appear in a sentence?!). I keep my own personal blogspot here www.bonniemacdonald.blogspot.com which I update quite regularly. I will try to update this on a regular basis (weekly, perhaps?) with somewhat entertaining news :D
