Wow. I have to pinch myself. I have a connection and a few hours with a laptop full of pictures! Is this happening for real?! :D We have been having such a busy schedule between visiting folks and traveling, and being sick. I’m now getting to sit down to upload and write!
We entered CA and headed straight for the Greer’s house. I will direct you to their blog for a few posts about our visit.
Our visit to the beach was beautiful! The water was totally freezing and cold but beautiful just the same. I opted to ride a bike back home (7 miles) instead of waiting for the sun to go down over the water. Looking back, yeah, I could have planned better! This was the only opportunity for sunset photos over the water the whole trip.
Anyway, a few shots while the sun was still up.

Two Greers and some of the MacDonalds who walked the pier.

They had some surfing competition going on...

Mikki and Hannah playing in the sand....from the looks of them they DID go in the water. Brrr!!

Cute little pelican which liked to snap at people. : P
There were some just happy to sit there, while we edged closer and closer and ended up trying to push Vincent into them. :)

Matthew enjoying the day!

Was it the salt air or the salt water???

.... :D

It didn't seem to hurt mom or dad any. :)

The bike ride home was kinda long...but we made it before night set in.

Thus ends our ocean adventure in Oceanside, CA. :)
