First, I’m so sorry for taking a week to get these post up! Being busy combined with procrastination is to blame I’m afraid. Our 5 week tour to quickly coming upon us and there is much to be done. We will leave Lord willing this Friday. Thank you for your continued prayers for us as we minister to those around us. Thank you also for prayers for dad’s health.

Looking back though for a moment: last weekend we traveled to Maine. The fellowship and company combined with the beautiful backdrop of the beach and woods of Maine was all together lovely.

From a relaxing walk/bike ride around the lake to volleyball, games, food, music, thoughtful conversation and encouragement, we enjoyed the company! Thank you Denny family!

While we were there we helped split and firewood! Regretfully do not have a photo of the finished pile.

Here we are at the beginning though…

If you can see the two pole hanging in the tree you will have an idea of how high we stacked it. The pile was three lengths thick and extended to the second set of trees. We were thoroughly exhausted, and the exhaustion continued to the next morning when we sang at Twin Bridges, a church we visit years ago, before the bus.

We ministered that night at a brand new church. We had a wonderful time with those folks. : ) The Barton family took us home that night. It’s always interesting when we arrive anywhere at night that we’ve never been before and get up in the morning!! Everything is different in the light!

We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast the next morning and packed up for the beach.

Fort Popham was stoic as always as we played games with the church family in the courtyard. It was almost like an outdoor gym. ; )

…and the shore. What can I say? It’s Maine!
